Keep up your healthy lifestyle!
You plan to follow a good Lifestyle and fall of from time to time? So the good news for you, is that you're totally normal and happens to everyone now and then. But if this happens to you ALL the time, the reason could be as follows: Living a healthy lifestyle is not your MAIN objective.... Having a great physique after a period of time struggling through dieting, just for afterwords falling right back to the old routine.. That this DOESN’t happen to you follow these tipps:
1. It must be your lifestyle!!! This means, that your MAIN GOAL has to be beeing fit and healthy and to eat well. This will put you into the 80/20 rule... I suggest 80% of the time you eat healthy and fall off and enjoy whatever you like 20% of the time... this allows you to be human and to have those occasional favourite meals but the other 80% of the time you eat healthy
2. Find healthy foods that you like! Prepare a shopping list, this guarantees 80% of success.! Just don’t buy food with less nutrition. Quick done, but not good for you! Lots of it you will find in the frozen-food departement. In my eyes mainly fast food stuff, and fried food like Pizza or Pommes, convenience food. Those stuff will just make you crave more sugar, makes you tired and after a while fat. And also the taste is debatable, cause as soon as you are used to prepare your food fresh without other adds you won’t like this stuff anymore. Instead choose whole grain or speltproducts, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables (ps those can also be deep-frozen, especially in Winter, the vegetable is quick-frozen and all the good nutritients will be kept), fish and meat, milkproducts with low fat. Just leave all the other stuff in the store besides, don’t even watch it and just walk on. Also don’t let yourself fall for a special promotion or food examples. From time to time try a BIO-Store where you can get whole and fresh foods without chemical adds. Nowadays you can find a specific assortment of Bio-Products in almost every Discounter. Lately I also shop Bio-Products from our Country, not only cause they are fresher, but also I will support my economy and I know, that this food isn’t shipped who knows from where to get there, what doesn’t only mean that the quality is worse, but will affect our environment really hard through the long transports. I prefer to pay a little more to avoid this.
3. Plan in advance! It is so easy for even the most dedicated person to fall off the wagon if they are out, hungry and don't have any food with them... This is the Nr. 1 reason to fall off. Don’t let this become your new habit and prepare your food in advance and take it with you! (I always have my cool-bag with healthy fods in, like fruits, nuts, protein bar, dried prunes, or also my lunch, when I leave early, for example Rice with vegetables and Chicken) If you didn't already know... your diet accounts for about 75-80% of how your physique will look...
4. Do what it takes to make WORKING OUT a habit!! Here are some great options: 1. Get a workout partner (a friend or who ever.. as long as your accountable to someone, you'll get there:) 2. find a workout class that you love!!! try different classes until you find one that you just can't miss. There you also have the group-motivation. 3. Hire a trainer. Be sure, if you're putting the money out there, you probably won't miss a workout-unit anymore!
One last thing: It’s a great motivation to book a full photo shoot with a photographer that you like for three months from now.. Make this your goal and this brings you the motivation! Hopefully, once you reach your goal, you'll feel so good that you'll just keep going! All the best!!!
